Returns & Exchanges
General Information
We strive to make that our customers are satisfied and that their new tool or other equipment performs as it should. We understand product returns are sometimes necessary. It’s important to make sure our policy is clear and understandable for all involved.
In-store credit will be issued for items purchases at our physical location; all returns must be for unused merchandise in new condition with original packaging; must have the receipt; and be completed within 14 days of the original purchase.
Merchandise Purchased On-line
Purchases of items that are on sale, specially discounted or marked clearance are considered final, and we do not offer returns or exchanges on these items.
Exchanges for regularly priced merchandise will be provided only if the item was damaged in transit, defective, or if we shipped the wrong merchandise. Store credit will be issued in lieu of an exchange.
A Note About Product Availability
We do our best to make a reasonable representation of products on our website. In rare circumstances, products may not be available for reasons beyond our control. In the event we cannot fulfill an order, we will be glad to work with you to identify an alternate product, or issue a refund.
Please also be aware that colors and patterns may vary from photos on our website in comparison to the actual merchandise. This is due to a variety of understandable factors. Also, lighting and differences in how computer monitors display colors can significantly affect how an item appears. These types of variances from product to product are not considered defects.
Many items may not have the manufacturer’s “pretty box” often seen with many tools. This is because the item has been obtained in a bulk situation, and the lack of a “pretty box” actually saves on overall cost (and can reduce waste in many instances). All items are brand new regardless if the packaging differs from what is often found in retail settings.
Important Details on Returns
We allow two full weeks (14 calendar days) from the date the merchandise is delivered (according to official shipment tracking), or purchased at our store, to return for exchange unused items.
All such items must be in new condition with original tags still attached. Please also note that any packaging the merchandise came in or with must be included.
No merchandise is eligible for return/exchange if:
–It has been obviously used in a manner that exceeds the capabilities of the item.
–It has been seriously stained, blemished or otherwise shows signs wear and tear in any way.
–The item has been altered in any way.
–It was damaged after receipt.
To Request a Return/Exchange
To initiate a return for exchange or store credit, please contact us first. We cannot honor returned items of which we were not notified beforehand.
Please take photo(s) of the item(s) to document the damage or defect; to help you to the maximum extent, we will request that you send us these. We will discuss with you the best route to return the merchandise and will provide instructions. Please note that the buyer must pay all return shipping charges unless it is clear we shipped the wrong item(s).
What Happens Next
We will promptly process returns for exchange or store credit when we receive the returned merchandise in satisfactory condition as carefully described above. We will then ship the item to be exchanged, commonly with 14 calendar days, or issue store credit or a refund when appropriate.
As part of our excellent customer care, we will notify you promptly if there are any issues or questions. We want to process and conclude your transaction as quickly as possible.
Special Shipping Circumstances
For many categories of merchandise, shipping will be calculated at checkout. We do our best to offer you the most economical and effective shipping.
During special promotions, we may offer free shipping on select merchandise, and these promotions will be announced on our website or through our social media channels. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss out!
For highly specialized products or orders that may in sum be exceptionally heavy (such as with tables, stands, some lawn equipment, and other items), shipping may be a second transaction after the initial purchase. We work hard to keep shipping costs controlled in the otherwise volatile market. This allows us to service you in the best manner possible by seeking out the best shipping method, route and cost. This will be based on the items you purchased, your locale, and any other special shipping considerations that will best serve you. Thus, your purchase of item (s) in this category pays for them and keeps them in reserve for you while shipping costs and arrangements are tailored just for your situation.
